Attached are a few photos of the baby and of his cage. As you can see from the disarray of his feathers, he hadn’t been home but a few short moments and already allowed us to love on him and handle him! He finally did allow me to wash his feathers up this evening after dinner. (He adores the chili peppers I grow and dry; he stayed busy with one while I washed him up!)

Anyone that is leery of shipping, please don’t be. I was, too. I’d even contemplated the 6 hour drive each way to avoid the baby having to fly! The folks at Delta handled our baby with the utmost care, and he was raised with such human care that he allowed me to pet him in less than 1 minute of the attendant handing me his pet taxi when his flight came in.  He was a little mad, but for wanting out after a long day, not because he was harmed in any way.  Our baby is hands above the local “pet-store birds,” that sell for as much as $2,500.   I cannot say enough good things about the way these guys are loved and raised.  Within an hour of being home he allowed us to handle, pet, and love on him. The next morning after breakfast, he acted as though he has been here all of his life!

 He is an absolute joy!  He already waves, steps-up, says hello, and preens us! I can’t thank you enough for having taken the time to combine the good sense approach of superior nutrition, genuine knowledge of each species and its needs, and PROPER hand-rearing. As I know you are aware, it makes for a superior family addition.
